2019 Australian & Oceania Canoe Marathon Championships – Results

Last weekend (17th -19th) the 2019 Australian & Oceania Canoe Marathon Championships took place in Ascot, WA. Queensland sent a small team of six top Marathon athletes to face off against the tough competition brought on from both national and international teams whom attended this exciting event.

After a couple of days of fierce racing our team of athlete’s efforts were rewarded.

Tegan Fraser – Gold OWK1
Isabella Rowsitano – Silver OWC1
Brad Hagan – Silver 40MK1
Gavin Cook – Silver 50M ski


We’d like to thank all members of the 2019 QLD Marathon team for taking the time and making the effort to travel across the country and represent Queensland at this event. You are all a credit to the sport.

We at Paddle Queensland would like to thank staff, athletes, volunteers and spectators. Of which all of whom, made the success of this event possible.

A special thanks Paddle WA for their hard work in organizing the event. All our athletes felt very welcome and were highly impressed by the facilities and services offered to competitors at the event.
