Queensland's success at the 2018 National Canoe Marathon Championships

A Queensland contingent headed to West Lakes, South Australia to compete at the 2018 National Canoe Marathon Championships. The cold weather was a shock to the system but the Queenslanders remained determined and brought back home a total of 33 medals!
Queenslanders performed well across all age categories bringing home 16 gold medals, 12 silver and 5 bronze. See how our State Team members performed below.
Thanks to Peter Winton who managed the State team at the Championships and to Chris Hurley and Pete who organised the kayak transport and to Steve McLay, Greg Litherland and Arman le Roux for towing the team boats to South Australia!
A very special thanks goes to all of the families of the paddlers for your continued support.
