FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES | Stronger Communities Programme

Does your community organisation have a project that could benefit from funding?

Then the Stronger Communities Programme may be for you.

The programme was announced as part of this year’s Federal Budget and delivers $150,000 per year for two years to fund small capital projects which deliver social benefits.

Projects can range from the construction and fit out of men’s sheds, sporting facility upgrades, bike paths through to the purchase of equipment for the local SES.

Applicants can apply for funding of at least $5,000 and up to a maximum of $20,000. Funding must be matched with cash or in-kind on at least a dollar-for-dollar basis.

If your community organisation is an incorporated not-for-profit and has a project you think may be eligible I encourage you to review the enclosed Stronger Communities Programme guidelines and complete the Fisher Expression of Interest form.

Expression of Interest forms must be submitted by 5pm, Friday 21 August 2015. If you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to call my office on 5493 5556.
