The paddle


Doonella Lake to Cranks Creek, Noosa River or Worroi Creek. Mixture of bush, mangrove and residential areas with good stands of mangroves at the entrance to Cranks Creek, around Sheep Island and Wooroi Creek. There are many other vessels anchored or using this stretch of the Noosa River.


How to get there


Tewantin / Noosaville Section – Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club on Gympie Tce. Toilets are available.


What to expect Ð water conditions, etc


Suitable to any craft that can handle the sometimes windy and choppy conditions.


Distance/Time to allow


You can tailor your paddles to the time that you have available. You can organise interesting paddles of 2 to 4 hours in duration.

There are a range of camping and accommodation choices available in the Sunshine Coast area.
